Hey all. I just recently had to reinstall a fresh coppy of openbook do to some problems I was having with the speach engine. Now that that's fixed there is a minor issue with the twain settings. My scanner requires the twain closing after each scan, and so I check it. Well when I close openbook until the next time I use it again when I bring it back up I have to recheck that box. All of the other settings save fine it's just the twain setting is not saving after each shutdown of openbook. This never happened until I reinstalled. I'm currently using openbook 7.0 an hp scanjet2400 and windows xp, any suggestions? Thanks.

Troy, can you save it in the default settings? I use kurzweil and that's waht our shop recommends and when I make any changes either with the twain driver or any scanner settings I save them under default. Don't know if that needs to be done with openbook but you might want to give it a try.
